Tips and Precautions while using Navagni

With any burning of biomass fuel there is risk in some level of toxic gases being emitted

  • As with any stove which deals with fire, the stove surface gets very hot and will burn the skin that comes in contact when in operation. Caution label is conveniently placed on the stove to indicate this fact

Text Box: Caution
HOT while in operation. DO NOT TOUCH. Keep children, clothing, furniture and combustible materials a considerable distance away. Contact may cause skin burns.

  • Children should be kept away from the stove while in operation and until the stove has cooled down since last cooking
  • The stove is designed to have a very stable base structure to avoid accidental tipping of the stove while cooking. Nonetheless it is possible with some moderate pressure to tip the stove and hence cause fire hazard
  • For a prolonged use of cooking operation it is recommended to remove the rotary flame control to avoid the controller getting over heated and consequently become deformed
  • Technology used in Navagni™ significantly reduces the green house gas emissions as it will burn the fuel very efficiently. But, as with any burning of biomass fuel there is risk in some level of toxic gases being emitted, so Navagni™ should be used in well ventilated areas to reduce the inhalation of these toxic gases (however small the quantity)
  • Technology used in Navagni™ significantly reduces the ash generated as a byproduct of burning the fuel. This is conveniently collected at the bottom in an ash collection tray.
